1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern your use of our website and services. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Customisation Service and Liability

Swipemetal offers the customization of metal bank cards and NFC products. You understand and agree to the following:

• Customer Liability: You accept full responsibility for sending your bank card to us for customization. Swipemetal is not liable for any damage, loss, or breach of agreement with your card issuer due to the customization process.
• Bank Card Ownership: The customisation services provided by Swipemetal are carried out based on the assumption that the customer has all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to submit the card for such services. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any modification of the card complies with the terms and conditions imposed by the card issuer. Swipemetal does not conduct independent verification of these permissions and proceeds with the customisation solely based on the customer’s request.
• Card Freeze: We strongly recommend that you freeze or lock your card during the transfer process to prevent any unauthorized transactions while it is in transit or during customization.

3. Transfer of Card and Risk

• Shipping Responsibility: You agree to bear the full risk of shipping your card to us. Swipemetal will not be responsible for any damage, theft, or loss during transit. We recommend that you use a secure, trackable shipping service and consider insuring the card.
• Damage During Customization: While we take all reasonable precautions, Swipemetal will not be held responsible for any damage to the card during the customization process. In the rare event of such damage, we may offer to replace the customized portion of the card but will not be liable for replacing the functional aspects of the card (e.g., the magnetic strip or chip).

4. Returns and Warranty

• No Returns for Custom Products: Due to the personalized nature of our products, we do not accept returns on customized items unless there is a manufacturing defect.
• Warranty: Our products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty covers only the customization, not the functional aspects of the original bank card. If you believe your product is defective, please contact us within the warranty period, and we will assess the issue.

5. Customer Data and Privacy

• Data Collection: Swipemetal collects and stores personal data, including name, address, and payment details, necessary for processing your order. By using our services, you consent to the storage and processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

• Product Liability: Swipemetal’s liability for any claims arising from defects or damages to the customised product is limited to the value of the service paid. We are not liable for the replacement or functional operation of the card once customised.

These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Amendments to T&Cs

We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to orders placed after the date of the amendment.
