We are committed to delivering high-quality customised products and ensuring customer satisfaction. This returns and warranty policy outlines your rights and obligations. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Customised Products (Bank Cards)

Non-Refundable Orders: Due to the customised nature of our bank cards, once an order is placed and allocated to production, the order becomes non-refundable.

Damaged or Faulty Goods: If you receive a damaged or faulty card, you are entitled to a refund or exchange within 14 days of receiving the product. Please provide photographic evidence and a description of the fault when you contact us. The cost of returning the item will be covered by Swipemetal for verified faulty products.

Incorrect Orders: In the event you receive an incorrect card (e.g., incorrect design or personalisation), you may request an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving the product. Please contact us with details of the error.
2. Warranty

30-Day Manufacturer’s Warranty: Swipemetal offers a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery for any defects resulting from the manufacturing process. This includes:
- Physical defects in the product
- Operational defects affecting the functionality of the card (e.g., chip or magnetic stripe issues)
If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will arrange for a replacement or repair at no additional cost. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents) unless affecting the functionality

Claims Process: To make a claim under the warranty, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of receipt, providing proof of purchase and evidence of the defect. We reserve the right to inspect the product before issuing a replacement or repair.
3. Returns Process
To initiate a return for faulty or damaged products:
- Contact us at hello@swipemetal.co.uk within 14 days of receiving the product to request a return or exchange.
- We will provide you with a return shipping label for faulty items.
- Once the product is returned and inspected, a replacement or refund will be issued within 14 days.
For non-faulty returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item, and we recommend using a trackable shipping method.
4. Swipeinsure

Non-Refundable: Swipeinsure, our optional insurance product for your card, is non-refundable from the point of purchase.

5. Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your right to receive products that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
- If a product does not meet these legal standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- If a fault develops after 30 days but within 6 months of receiving the product, you may still be entitled to a repair or replacement, depending on the nature of the fault. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced, you may be entitled to a refund.
6. Future Products
As Swipemetal expands its product range, any specific return and warranty policies for new items will be outlined within this policy. Each product type will be covered by this general policy unless otherwise stated.
7. Exclusions and Limitations

General Wear and Tear: Our products are built to last, but we do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or any damage arising from unauthorised repairs or modifications.

Force Majeure: Swipemetal is not responsible for any delays or failure to comply with our obligations under this policy if the delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control.
